Two teen girls killed in Antioch car crash identified

By By Ashley McBride Authorities have identified two teenagers who were killed in a car crash Friday after leaving a high school basketball game in Antioch.
A white SUV carrying six teens slammed into a tree near the intersection of Lone Tree Way and Indian Hill Drive around 7 p.m. Friday, and officials with the Antioch Police Department said the crash was likely caused by wet road conditions and excessive speed.
The driver, 17-year-old Leana Rubin, of Oakley, and 13-year-old passenger Jaia Lightner, of Antioch, died in the crash. Lightner was a student at Delta Vista Middle School.
