If 49ers defended Reuben Foster, as alleged, they’re knee-deep in muck

By By Scott Ostler When I first heard that a 49ers official allegedly defended Reuben Foster to police responding to a 911 call at the team hotel Nov. 24, it kind of made sense.
The alleged victim, Elissa Ennis, said in an interview with ABC News on Thursday that she heard a 49ers official tell police that she once admitted in court she lied about Foster attacking her.
That was the truth. Maybe the team official figured he should let the cops know what kind of irrational person they were dealing with.
But as they say in the NFL, “Upon further review”: No. Hell no.
