Former Cal standout Michael Kim takes four-shot PGA lead

By Associated Press Former Cal standout Michael Kim took a four-shot lead Friday at the PGA Tour’s John Deere Classic, which was suspended twice because of weather concerns.

Kim, who is winless in 84 career PGA Tour starts, was 8-under for 17 holes Friday at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. — dropping him to 16-under for the tournament — when play was halted.
