49ers OT Keith Fahnhorst dies at 66

By By Eric Branch Offensive tackle Keith Fahnhorst, who won two Super Bowls and earned a Pro Bowl berth during a 14-year career spent with the 49ers, died Tuesday at 66.

Fahnhorst, who played from 1974-87, ranks eighth in franchise history in regular-season games played (193) and is tied for sixth in seasons played with the team (14). His death came eight days after his teammate, wide receiver Dwight Clark, died at 61 on June 4 from ALS.
