Near-freezing temperatures hit Bay Area a day after hail storms

By By Sophie Haigney The tail end of Monday’s storm left much of the Bay Area unusually chilly this morning, with temperatures in some places dipping into freezing temperatures.

Santa Rosa and Napa both hit 32 degrees early this morning, while other cities across the region were in the 40s: San Francisco hit 45 degrees, Oakland dipped to 40 and San Jose found a compromise at 43 degrees.
