Pirates leadoff hitter Josh Harrison could miss 6 weeks

By Associated Press Pittsburgh second baseman Josh Harrison is expected to miss six weeks with a broken bone in his left hand.

The team’s leadoff hitter fractured his pinkie Sunday when he was hit with a pitch by Miami’s Jose Ureña in the third inning of the Pirates’ 7-3 win.

On Monday, Harrison met with a hand specialist in Pittsburgh who diagnosed the injury.
