Bay Area temperatures drop, snow expected in the Sierra

By By Sarah Ravani Bay Area residents can expect brisk morning weather this week as temperatures start to drop, forecasters said.

Temperatures in San Francisco dipped to 48 degrees Monday morning but are expected to climb back into the 60s in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

The chilliest temperatures in the early morning hours Monday were in Napa at 35 degrees and 40 degrees in Livermore, forecasters said.
