In Sonoma County, some flee, some defy continuing blaze

As strong winds spread smoke into an ominous haze and threatened to push flames to new ground Wednesday, the people of fire-ravaged Sonoma Valley waited. Some stood at roadblocks sealing off their still-smoking neighborhoods, waiting to see what was left. Others sat inside homes they had drenched with water, waiting to meet the flames head-on, while many more languished at evacuation centers, hoping for good news. [READ MORE HERE]
