Richmond man killed when his car crashes into tree in Antioch

Just before 3 a.m., officers responded to reports of the wreck on Hillcrest Avenue near Sterling Hill Drive, said Sgt. Rick Martin, an Antioch police spokesman. The first officers on the scene found a sedan that had crashed into a tree in the center median. Investigators said speed appeared to have played a role in the crash, but it was too early to know if drugs or alcohol were involved.
